| San Jose, Calif. – November 1, 2023: TRACO POWER releases their new THN 15UIR and THN 20UIR series of 15 and 20 watt full-featured DC/DC Converters with ultra-wide 9-75 or 14-160 VDC Input ranges in a compact 1 x 1” footprint and the THN 20UIR comes standard with a heatsink attached for extended thermal performance.
The THN 15UIR and THN 20UIR series are high-performance DC/DC converters with an ultra-wide 12:1 input voltage range and a power output of 15 or 20 watts. A dedicated holdup capacitor connection satisfies the hold-up requirements of EN 50155 without bulky input capacitors. An encapsulated package provides resistance against mechanical shock and vibration as well as fire behavior to satisfy both EN 61373 and EN 45545-2 standards. EN 50155 certifications and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety approvals make these converters ideal for rolling stock and other demanding industrial applications.
